MOREHOUSE-DENNIS
On Saturday, April 12, at the Long-
ford Methodist Church, the marriage
took place of Dulcie Joyce, third
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lance Den-
nis, of Longford, to Percy Joseph,
youngest son of Mr. D. and the late
Mrs. Morehouse, of Aspendale, Vic-
toria. The ceremony was performed
by Rev. Russell Ortin.
The bride, who was given away by
her father, chose a blue ensemble, with
which she wore a white felt hat and
navy accessories. She carried a sheaf
of gladioli tied with blue ribbon.
The bride's sister, Miss Madge Den-
nis, attended as bridesmaid. She chose
a frock of teal blue, worn with white
felt hat and accessories, and carried
a bouquet of mauve and pink stocks
tied with white ribbon.
Mr. W. Williams, the bride's brother
in-law, attended the 'groom as best
man. As the bride left the church a
silver and white horseshoe was hung
on her arm by her small brother Max.
The bride's mother received intimate
friends and relations at a reception in
the Druids' Hall, where the main fea-
ture of the bridal table was a pink and
silver two-tiered wedding cake, the
gift of Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Barnes.
Mr. and Mrs. P. Morehouse left by
plane for Aspendale, Victoria, where
they will make their future home.
