Mrs. Tracy Coughlin Dies

The death of Mrs. Dorothy Comes Coughlin occurred early Friday morning, July 12 at Syracuse Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Coughlin was born in Litchfield, Herkimer County, her ancesters were among the early settlers of that town. She was married 'to T. Tracy Coughlin of this village, on February 10, 1934 at Utica. Mrs. Coughlin was a graduate of Frankfort High School. Coming to Skaneateles from Marcellus where she had been employed as an operator by the Telephone company of that village, for three years, and for the past seven years has been connected in the same capacity at the New York Telephone office here.
She was a communicant of St. James, Episcopal Church and a member of the Auxiliary of the Robert J. Hydon Post 239; American Legion of this village. She and Mr. Coughlin have resided at 22 Fennell street since their marriage.
Surviving besides her husband, is a son, James Irving Coughlin, her father, Irving Comes of Frankfort, one sister, Mrs. Ruth Nichols of Vernon, two brothers, Addison Comes of Litchfield, also several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the J. H. Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Fennell street on Friday from where it was taken Sunday to the home of her brother in Frankfort. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon by Rev. L. R. Benson, rector of the Episcopal Church of Ilion. Burial was made in Litchfield Cemetery.
