James and Charlotte first lived at Lot 2, Con7, Eramosa Twp. on 50 acreas. They later moved t o Rockwood where James worked as an laborer. james and Charolette lived with their children i n a one story log house. They aslo had a boarder by the name of William CRIPPS living with t hem. James and Charolette moved to Esquesing Twp and then to Nassagaweya Twp. in Halton Coun ty (Ontario). Their last move was to Proton twp., Grey County, Ontario. James lived at Lot 1 6 Con 9, and this is where he died in his 79th year. Charolette had preceded him by severa l years.
