    Derk is molenaar op een korenmolen in Apeldoorn. Vermoedelijk een van de Monnikhuizer watermolens aan de Grift. 
In 1698 kopen Derck Jansen en
    Anneken Evers van Lubbickjen Gerrits, weduwe van Jan Jansen Raelten, enhaar kinderen een windkorenmolen op het Oender Veldje voor ƒ 2.900,-.
    In 1681 was de molen nog bezwaard voor ƒ 1.300.- t.b.v Asjen Jansen Raelten.
In 1718 verkopen zij de helft van de molen aan hun zoon Gerrit Dercks en diens vrouw Eesse Toenis voor ƒ 1.625.
In 1731 verkoopt Anna Evers, dan weduwe van Gerck Witteveen de andere helft voor ƒ 1.200 aan zoon Gerrit en zijn tweede vrouw Trijntjen Maertens.
