Zij werkte met haar eerste man op het kasteel binnen Wageningen bij Anna Maria Ripperda douariere van Torck, zij als keukenmeid en hij als tuinman (1739).
In januarij 1752 staat zij omschreven als de vrouw van Brouwer als zij een vrouwe stoel huurt in de kerk voor 18,-. In januarij 1753 is zij omschreven als de weduwe van Brouwer.

In het Diaconie rekeningenboek Voorschoten 1733-1765:
1754: aan vrouw Buysing voor een reygleyf voor /???/ 04,09,00

1756: ontvangen van Metje Hendriks den intrest van een obligatie in capitaal twee hondert tegen 3 percent dus 6 gulden.

1757-1758 /1761: ontvangen van Metje Hendriks den intrest van een obligatie in capitaal tweehondert guldens tegen 3 percent dus 6 gulden.

Lidmaten Voorschoten: Metje Hendriks met attestatie van Delft 6-4-1746 getekend 8-11- 1745.
