Notes about JOHN BOATMAN 10

REFN: 8818 John Boatman was born about 1596 in England. He died in 1658 following a long illness. His burial was 4 June, 1658, at St Peter Mancroft, Norwich, Norfolk England List of plate at St. Mancroft Parish Church, Norwich, Norfolk England 1659. And one piece of silver plate weighing (blank) given to Mr. John Boatman, deceased, late pastor. ib(ide)m. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note that the source for these two generations as the work of Robert L. Boatman and wife, Susan, who made on sight research during two trips to England in 1970 and 1980's. This information was transcribed by Glyn Green from a letter to her by Joy Boatman, both of United Kingdom and sent to Joy by Robert L. Boatman. Bob Boatman was an officer in the Boatman Family Group and was a contributer of his time, research and friendship. He passed away at Winneta, IL in 2000. THESE FIRST TWO GENERATIONS OF THIS FILE, (OUR ENGLISH ANCESTORS), IS NOT THE RESEARCH OF DAVID BOATMAN - Subsequent generations have been an ongoing project since 1965 and contains much of the groundwork laid by Minnie Brown Stone, Sallie Jacobs Wilson and over one hundred persons who contributed their families.
