Karen Marie Larsen

She died at the St. Joseph’s hospital at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday Jan 23,1892 in St. Paul. The 1892 Minnesota Ramsey county Death Record states that Karen died of Hepatitis - which is a liver failure.
Residence listed in paper as 1027 Western Ave North. Listed in newspaper as Mrs. A.J. Van Soelen

She is buried in the Oakland Cemetery (still in operation today) The undertaker was firm of Anderson & Hanson. They cememtery received her on Jan 26,1892. Because of the frozen ground she was not interred until April 22,1892. She rests in an unmarked grave on the west side of the cemetery in Block 64, Lot 6, row 6. The cemetery records show her born in Denmark of Danish parents and her next of kin was Adolph Van Soelen.
