Notes about Heinrich Christoph Johann Friedrich Fritz "Henri" Scharringhausen

Tussen 1901 en 1905 staat hij als scheepsbouwersknecht ingeschreven in het bevolkingsregister van Groningen (op 1mei 1903 werd het fallisement uitgesproken van zijn bedrijf, als machinesmid), 13 nov.1906 werkt Henri als monteur bij het Belgische bedrijf Koerting en verdient 30 á 35 B.frs per week. Hij voorziet in zijn eigen levensbehoeften en de huur bedraagt 25 B.frs per maand voor de woning aan de Rue des Bateliers H3.
In het verslag van het gemeentebestuur van Antwerpen wordt op 13 -08-1919 gemeld, dat Henri Scharringhausen gewoond heeft aldaar, Stijfselstraat 29 van 30-10-1912, komend van Borgerhout: "Hij was mechaniek bewerker van beroep en vond daarin zijn bestaan voor hem en zijn gezin. Voor wat betreft zijn gedrag en zedelijkheid, daarover is ons niets ongunstig bekend. Hij heeft onze stad verlaten bij het uitbreken van den oorlog, om zich naar Holland te begeven." (Als Duitser het land uitgegooid, de dag dat Duitsland België binnenviel.)
Op14 mei 1897 schreef hij zich -komende van Groningen- ambtshalve in te Doetinchem, waar hij de leiding had over de Doetinchemse Rijwielenfabriek in de Boliestraat aldaar; op 27 juni 1898 naar Winschoten vertrokken. In Doetinchem is niets bekend over andere personen, dan Henri, maar vermoedelijk was Auguste reeds met de kinderen van (Anna) Marie Bartels bij Henri ingetrokken, in eerste instantie als huishoudster, maar spoedig was ook zij zwanger....
Vanaf 17 aug. 1906 in België tot aug. 1914, eerst in de wijk Borgerhout en van 1912-1914 in de Stijfselstraat 29 Antwerpen. In 1909 Rue d'Amsterdam 6 Antwerpen.
Voor 17 aug. 1906, en na de Antwerpse periode woonde het gezin te Rotterdam, in de Marinestraat 17.
Vanaf aug. 1914 woonde het gezin Scharringhausen in Rotterdam; Hans Jacob regelt een bedrijfsruimte en woning in de Korte Hoogstraat. Intussen 8 personen. Hieronder Anna Gertrud Naumann, geb. 13-10-1906 in Bad Kösen. Haar man woont in Duitsland.
Hans Jacob diende aan het front voor het Duitse leger.
Op 5 maart 1929 vertrok Henri, alleen, en ambtshalve naar de Ortstraße 19 in Dusseldorf.
