Notes about Mr. Huych Gijsberts Meuyen

Had in 1676/77 Berber Jans in de kost, betaald door de H.G. meesters. Werd sedert 1701 onderhouden door de diaconie. Onder kerkelijke tucht geplaatst in sept. 1673, wegens "ergerlijke dronkenschap", iets wat meermalen reeds gebeurd was (kr. not. sept. 1673). In dec. 1676 absenteerde hij en zijn vrouw van het avondmaal. Op 18 april 1677 staat aangetekend dat zij "schoon ontboden sijnde voor de kerkenraet te compareren, sulx halstarrighlijck geweygert en haer als vooren van het avontmael, jae oock in 't geheel van 't gehoord des woorts geabsenteert hebben"(kr. not. 18 april 1677).
