Volgens [DTB Nieuw Beijerland trouwen 1658-1788 [Nat. Archief, p. 75/220]] vond de ondertrouw inderdaad op 25-2-1707 plaats, maar het huwelijk op 19-3-1707.

Ook in het Register van impost op trouwen en begraven komt de ondertrouw voor in de klasse f 3,= . De bruid wordt hier vermeld als JOHanna Vermaas.

de Kerkeraadsacta van 27 Oct. 1712 vermelden de komst van Maarten Philipsz. Vermaat en Anna Ariens Vermaas met attestatie van Oud-Beijerland. Maarten, geboren te Nieuw-Beijerland, werd in 1712 te Brielle poorter (Res. Mag. 9 April 1712). Hetechtpaar won te Brielle : Adrianus, gedoopt 7 Febr. I713; Philip, gedoopt 14 Oct. 1714; Anna, gedoopt
3 Maart 1716. Doopgetuigen waren Hendrik Ruijtenburg en zijn huisvrouw Marijtjen Herberts Trouw (i)

In 1717 keert het echtpaar weer terug naar Oud Beijerland, waar hun kinderen Neeltje, Anna, Anna en Adrianus gedoopt zijn.

Aangezien Bastiaantje Pieters Lantmeter doopgetuige is bij dochter Kornelia, lijkt het logisch dat Maarten de (oudste) zoon is van Philip Maartensz Vermaat en Bastiaantje. Deze zoon had ik nog niet, dus op zoek naar bewijs in het doopboek van NieuwBeijerland [26-5-2011]
