Dat betekent dan dat Philippus jonger moet zijn dan Nicolaas. Dit klopt met de attestatie van hun ouders in 1648 van Spijkenisse naar Zuidland. Bij zijn ondertrouw is Philippus immers "j.m. van Zuidland". In het doopboek van Zuidland is hij echter niet te vinden.
