Niels Hansen havde i 1732 overtaget gården Trøstrup, htk. 3-6-2-2, eftersin fader som selvejer, og d. 17 februar 1771 finder der på grund afhans alder og svagelighed et samfrændeskifte sted, hvor det bestemmes,at sønnen Hans skal have gården med al dens rettighed og herlighed,hvorved bemærkes at der ingen gæld hæfter på den, og at han skal ydeforældrene ophold og aftægt og forsørge sin faster Mette Hansdatter samtbetale til søsteren Kirsten 100 sld., når det forlanges, samt bekostehendes trolovelse og bryllup. Skiftet er underskrevet af Michel Hansensom curator for Hans og af Mads Andersen Videbæk som formynderforKirsten.
