    Men meldt ons uit Delfzijl: Gisterenmorgen is hier binnengekomen het Duitsche stoomschip "Otto Thords". Het schip rapporteert, gezocht te hebben naar de loodsboot, doch deze niet te hebben gevonden.
    Aan boord van de vermiste loodsschoener "Eems II" bevonden zich: H. Dubois, schipper, R. van Til, G. Storteveld en G. Geertsema, loodsen, P. Drieweg, loodskweekeling 1e kl., M.A. Post en J. de Jong, loods-kweekelingen 2e kl., K. Westendorp, matroos, Mulder, Kok, allen uit Delfzijl, en H. Smit, matroos, Groningen.
    Het schip was voor 14 dagen naar buiten gegaan naar den post Eems-west en moest de vorige week den post Eems-oost overnemen.
    Eergistermiddag 5 uur moest de loodsschoener zijn teruggekeerd, doch tot heden heeft men niets van het vaartuig vernomen. Verscheidene schepen zijn uitgevaren om den loodsschoener op te sporen.
