    Aangespoord door medelijden met den Hollandschen schipper Remt Tobias Danhof, die in het gemis van zijn eigendom is, in het bezonder echter met zyne familje en verscheidene minderjarige kinderen, welkers behoorlijke opvoeding en toekomstige welvaartkonde verzwaard worden, hebben wy ondergetekende reeders van het kaperschip SPECULATIE in consideratie van dien aan de kinderen van den schipper R.T. Danhof, namentlyk den zoon Fritse Remts Danhof en de dochters Meins Remts Danhof benevens Lollina Remts Danhof willen overlaten met vol regt van eigendom het door mij Olof Widell in publieke veiling op den 25 Mey laatstleden gemynde en op den 8 Maart genadigst prys verklaarde jagtschip genaamd ANNA CATHARINA MARIA, met al deszelfs toebehoren, zoo als het ons ter hand gekomen is en ordonneren wij tevens ook hierdoor uitdruklyk, dat het gedachte schip is en onherroepelyk zal blyven den eigendom der genoemde kinderen en van niemand anders, waarover de vader durende de minderjarigheid der kinderen en tot hun voordeel en opkomst enig en alleen zal mogen disponeren zoo lang zij zelfs daartoe geen magt hebben. Evenwel verklaren wy, dat dit schip, het welk uit zuivere toegenegenheid aan de kinderen is geschonken, niet voor eenige particuliere schuld van den vader of de ouders zal mogen aangetast en de kinderen ontnomen worden. Al het welk by deze plegtig geattesteerd en met de onderteekening van onze namen en het stellen van onze cachetten in presentie van een getuige bekrachtigd wordt.

    Dat de heeren O.J. Westbeck, C.E. Jungmarker, E. Lehn, B. Widell, Olof Widell en J.A. Falck, welke reeders geweest zyn van het hier met behoorlyke hooge permissie uitgerust kaperschip SPECULATIE dezen schenkingsbrief in myn presentie eigenhandig onderteekend en in alle delen geapprobeerd hebben, attesteert met eigenhandige onderteekening benevens cachet en ambtszegel, Marstrands openbaar notariskantoor ut supra, van wegens het openbaar notarisambt, geteekend Pets.G. Svahn

    In de publieke op heden hier ter plaatze gehoudene veiling heeft de heer koopman Widell gekocht het hier opgebragte en door het Koninkl. Majesteits genadiglyk vonnis prys verklaarde sloepschip genaamd ANNA CATHARINA MARIA, groot 20 20/110e lasten met deszelfs inventaris voor een som van drie honderd drie en derig rijksdaalders, zestien b. banco, voor welken som bij dezen gequiteerd wordt.

    Overeenkomstig de bygaande schenkingsbrief, gedateerd den 1. July 1815 wordt deze koopbrief aan de kinderen van den Hollandschen schipper Remts Tobias Danhof, den zoon Fritse Remts Danhof en de dochters Meins Remts Danhof en Lollina Remts Danhof metal het regt, dat dezelve schenkingsbrief inhoud, getransporteerd. Dit wordt verzekerd.
