op 6 november 1720 laat Jan Bartels te Metslawier een zoon Tjeerd dopen. De moeder wordt niet genoemd, maar zou Baukje Douwes kunnen zijn (er is een dopeling Douwe (van Jan Bartels) te Metslawier op 11 december 1705, en een huwelijk te Ee op 18 maart 1703 tussen Bruidegom Jan Bartels wonende te Ee en Bruid Baukje Douwes wonende te Engwierum.
