Yes. You start with a free trial subscription. You do not have to enter any payment details. That way you first see whether a family archive is something for you.
With the trial subscription you create one family archive. You can invite three participants and post six images and nine stories. Enough to try it out with a few family members. The trial subscription lasts three weeks. After that your archive continues to exist, but you cannot add anything above these limits.
Want unlimited photos, stories and participants? Then you take a Plus subscription. That is a yearly subscription. The current price is on the subscription page. With it you also get newsletters, public news items, your own background and the link with Genealogy Online.
Only you as archivist have a subscription. All participants you invite take part for free. Even if there are fifty of them.
Do you also have a Plus subscription on Genealogy Online or Open Archives? Then you get a multi-subscription discount. It can run up to thirty percent.
