Every contribution in the archive shows the name of the participant. With a profile photo it becomes more personal. Family members see at once who is responding.

How to set a profile photo

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Click Profile photo.
  3. Choose a photo on your computer. Or take one right away with the webcam or the camera of your phone.
  4. Save.

The photo appears with your responses, stories and in the list of participants. This applies to every participant, not only the archivist.

Good to know

  • Your profile photo is only visible to participants of archives you take part in. Not to the outside world.
  • Your account is the same on Genealogy Online, Open Archives and the Stamboom Forum. So you see a profile photo there too.
