Question/answer » Can I change the appearance of my family archive?

Yes. You can give your family archive its own look with a background. For example an old photo of the parental home, a map of the region, or simply a calm colour. This is a feature of the Plus subscription.

How to choose a background

  1. Go to Background in the management menu.
  2. Choose one of the standard backgrounds. Or upload your own image: a GIF, JPG or PNG of at most 250 KB.
  3. For your own image you choose whether it is repeated and whether it scrolls along or stays still.
  4. Save. The background is visible to all participants immediately.

Name and description

Under Layout you can also change the name and the description of your archive. They appear on the public page.

Tip

Choose a calm background. Photos and text must stay easy to read. A light, faded image works best.
