Marian, daughter of John MacLean of Treshnish, commonly ”called the Captain of Cairnburg” By her he had two sons, Eachann, or Hector Mor, his heir and successor, and the notorious Ailean na Sop. He also had a bastard son, Patrick, by one Catherine Kay, who became bishop of the Isles.
