      THOMAS CAMPBELL, second son of Colin, first Earl of Argyll (No. 9), was father of:—
      {a) Sir John (No. 140).
      He had apparently a second son :— {b) John (No. 143), ancestor of Kinochtree, Otter, Ormidale, and Ardmannoch.
      (140) SIR JOHN CAMPBELL OF LUNDIE, who married before 1552 Isobel, daughter of Andrew, second Lord Gray. They had a son :—
      (141) JOHN CAMPBELL OF LUNDIE, who married Janet Hering, and had:— {a) John (No. 142).
      He also had three daughters who were served heirs to their brother
      1st May 1583, and one of them was served heir to her grandfather ist October 1583.
