Notes about James Wilson

1. It is stated on James's Wilson's son, James Wilson d. 1881, death register, that his parents are "not known", but on his marriage register with Marjory Aitken in 1843, it states that his Father was named James, and that he was a weaver.

2. Gedcom downloaded from LDS states that James William Wilson, senior, was born in Leith, in 1774, married in 1792, and also had a daughter, named Isabella, who was born in Dysart, in 1808
