Notes about James Harrower

1. 1786 HARROWER, JAMES (Old Parish Registers Births 466/ 40 204 Clackmannan)
Janry 7th John Harrower Workman at Kennet Pans & Agnes Callender had a Son Bapt.. James Law:ll 16th In presence

2. At first I doubted that this was the correct James Harrower that married Janet Blair.
In the 1851 Census at Brothyburn, James and Janet's daughter Elizabeth, age 22, also has her daughter, Jane Miller, born 1850. Jane is recorded as Grandaughter to head of family.
Checks on SP show a death for Elizabeth, in 1902, age 73, with parents recorded as James Harrower & Janet Blair. When Elizabeth dies the record shows that she married Robert Miller, the childs father.
The child Jane's birth record is:-
1849 MILLER, JANE, ROBERT MILLER/ELIZABETH HARROWER F 21/09/1849 466/60 514 Clackmannan

3. There is a death of James Harrower in 1852 at Clackmannan.
Again this death cannot be proven as OPR record. James' possible death is recorded on the same page as his (supposed) brother, George!
The location at death where James is living is Hillend. Hillend is approx 600m from Brothyburn, where James was living in the 1851 Census (see media). I have recorded it in tree.
