Notes about William Moffat

1. No sign of a birth in Scotlands People in that year

2. There is an inaccuracy in the recorded death date and the burial date. Dates were recorded as being 27 February and 30 February respectively. Obviously there is not a February 30th.
The registrar appears to have added February death and burial on top of the original date.
Because of the sequence of previous and later dates recorded I have recorded the dates as being 27 and 30 January.
Transcription of Newton Burials from Lothians FHS transcribes the dates as January, but also transcribes William Moffat, Informant, as being the deceased's Grandson!
