1. There are 2 George Paxtons listed on LDS site, one has mother Helen Mcinnes b 24 June 1785, and one with mother Helen Innes, b 14 March 1791. It cannot be confirmed if the mothers are the same people. No death record can be found for the first born George.
2. On 9 June 2018, I downloaded copys of these births from Scotlands People. The transcription to Helen Innes is incorrect. The mothers name is Helen McInnes in both cases.
3. It now appears that the first child died before 14 Mar 1791
