They got married on September 3, 1950 at Berrien Springs, Berrien, Michigan, USA, he was 21 years old.Source 6Joseph Fraser, age 86 years, long time resident of St. Charles, passed away December 23, 2014 at his residence in Saginaw, MI. He was born September 30, 1928 to Clarence and Thelma Fraser and grew up in Sparta, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, James, and Jerry Fraser, Inez Peters, Leone Weaver, Geraldine Keeney, and wife of 62 years Donna (Pumford). Joe enjoyed his work as a drainage contractor and was co-owner of the Fraser Brothers and owner of Joe Fraser and Son, Inc. He was also a pilot and enjoyed flying. Joe was skilled in drawing and singing. He often sang for church and was a member of a barbershop quartet. During his retirement years he spent winters with his wife in Clermont, Florida. He will be held in loving memory by siblings Mary (Steve) Bielas, Joy Wold, Earl Fraser, Cheryl Johnson and Kathleen (Rodger) Rosenquist, his four children Donna (Bill) Cundell, Carolyn (Cliff) Yee, Judy (Bunky) Campbell, and Joseph Rock Fraser, nine grandchildren Loren “Boo” Cunnington, Chris (Kathryn) Loschiavo, Jacqueline (Mike) Fortune, Frank (Andrea) Marietta, Lance Cunnington, Lauren Fraser (John Surmann), Rocky Fraser, Ry Fraser, and Jonathon Yee, and six great grandchildren Josh and Lydia Fortune, Liam Cunnington, Lane Loschiavo and Francesca and Gino Marietta and many extended family and friends.
A memorial service is planned for January 24, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Charles Seventh day Adventist Church, 125 Marcy St., St. Charles, MI 48655
