    Gepko Luies is een zoon van Luij Gepkens, landbouwer te Noordbroek, en Jantien. Gepko overlijdt voor 1 juni 1640. Hij is landbouwer in Scheemderhamrik op de boerderij van zijn schoonvader Dodo Jans. Tot de beklemde landerijen behoren kerkelanden van Eext en kosterijlanden van Scheemda. Waarschijnlijk is hij vervolgens landbouwer te Noordbroek. Gepko trouwt op 14 februari 1619 in Noordbroek (H.V.) met Trijne Doedes, dochter van Dodo Jans, landbouwer in Scheemderhamrik, en Remen Sickens. Gepko hertrouwt met Dedde Ulpherts, dochter van Ulffert Tonkes, landbouwer op de Zomerdijk, Borgweersterhamrik, en Menje. Dedde hertrouwt met Cornelijs Eppens. Dedde overlijdt na 18 mei 1665.

    Gepko Luies volgt zijn schoonvader Doedo Jans in 1619 op.
