    Abel, Jacob en Gerrit Sebes Toxopeus, broers, zoon van Sebo Jans en Lammechien Gerrits, landbouwers op "Nyenhuis". Abel werd te Oterdum gedoopt op 9 september 1759 en trouwde met Geertruid Berends Barth, zuster van Jannes B. Barth te Heveskes. Hij overleed op 27 april 1814. Jacob werd gedoopt op 20 maart 1763 en bleef ongehuwd. Gerrit, gedoopt op 19 september 1769, trouwde in 1805 met Arendje Klasen, van Loppersum, dochter van Klaas Steenhuis te Wirdum en Zwaantje Aljes Bonthuis. De vader had in 1810 onder andere een boerderij "Nyenhuis". Na vaders dood kwamen de broers in proces met elkaar, totdat de rechtbank te Appingedam vonnis wees en notaris Dull op grond daarvan de boerderij en landerijen verkocht ("Groninger Courant" 15 juni 1813).

    Hij was landbouwer te Oterdum.
