    Overledene: Carel Roos, overleden op 05-02-1819 , wonende te Sneek, vader van minderjarige Gerard Carels Roos (toeziend voogd is Meinte Gosses Joustra).

    Carel Roos gaat op 20-03-1801 te Amsterdam in ondertrouw met Hendrina Maria de Leeger. Het is niet duidelijk, of het huwelijk ook echt gesloten is. Hendrina Maria trouwt in 1816 met een andere man, terwijl Carel Roos nog niet overleden is. Bij het tweede huwelijk van Hendrina staat geen enkele verwijzing naar dit (eerste) huwelijk. Hij lijkt vrouw en kind kort na de geboorte verlaten te hebben. Hij duikt vervolgens op als muzikant in Friesland en staat dan vermeld als "echtgenoot" van Ytje Joustra. Ook hier is onduidelijk, of dat tweede huwelijk van Carel Roos wel is gesloten. Uit dat tweede huwelijk wordt opnieuw een zoon Gerard geboren.

    Toen hij overleed, was hij muzikant te Sneek en weduwnaar van Ytje Joustra.
