    Jan Hindriks (Onnes), landbouwer, gedoopt te Nieuw-Beerta op 13 januari 1754, zoon van Hindrik Onnes en Tielke Jans, gehuwd met Jantje Ellerius Renken en overleden op 26 april 1826. Zijn vaders broer Geert had een dochter Elisabeth Geerts, die trouwde met Jan Wirtjes te Finsterwolde. Jantje E. Renken was een zuster van Harm E. Renken en van Truida, de vrouw van A. E. Busscher, allen kinderen van Epke Harms Renken. Jan Hindriks Onnes was maire van Beerta. In 1805 was hij bestuurder van het Vier- en Vijfkarspelen zijlvest. Zijn land lag te Beersterhamrik.
