    Jannes Willem Krijthe, loco-burgemeester en gemeenteraadslid, gedoopt te Oldehove op 6 februari 1757, zoon van Willem Jannes en Rienje Lammerts en gehuwd met Lieuwke Renderts, van de Oosterwaard, dochter van Rendert Willems en Menke Eelkes Posthuma. Hun dochter Menke trouwde met Klaas Klasens de Waard, hun dochter Wilhelmina met ds. Sytze Kl. de Waard, beiden zoons van Klaas Jans de Waard. Een zuster Aafke Willems was getrouwd met Dj. J. Siccama. Een zuster Jantje met Jan Thomas Wiersema. Jannes W. Krijthe overleed op 25 januari 1826. In 1807 en 1810 was hij schatter voor de personele belasting; in 1811 zetter van de grondbelasting; in 1812 raad(slid) van de municipaliteit. In 1823 verkocht hij aan Klaas Kl. de Waard een hoeve met vaste beklemming van 75 grazen op de Ruigewaard. Deze boerderij had hij sinds 1804 op zijn naam. Hij bezat toen nog een andere boerderij van 46 bunder in de Westerwaard.
