    Klaas Rinses Koopmans (1739; married Jikke De Vries in 1767 and Lijsbet Jans in 1771; was a butter merchant and exporter, who in 1772 decided a true Christian couldn’t be a merchant so he exited his trade; then he became a preacher of the only remaining Mennonite congregation in Leeuwarden, the Waterlandse Doopsgezinde, from 1772 to 1793 when he died).
