    Enne is geboren in 1737, overleden 18 sept. 1812 te Mensingeweer, begraven te Maarhuizen. Hij was landbouwer en schepper (bestuurlid van een waterschap) te Ranum, later wonende te Maarhuizen bij het kerkhof.

    Deze boerderij blijkt in 1721 met 58½ juk land in gebruik bij Jan Jacobs en zijn vrouw Krijntje, die er al in 1698 wonen. Eigenaar is dan de heer Tamminga. In 1759 krijgt Enne Jans, zoon van Jan Freerks en Swaantje Ennes bij scheiding en deling de boerderij toegewezen. Enne Jans (1737-1819) en zijn vrouw Grietje Freerks gaan na 1788 op de door hen aangekochte boerderij te Maarhuizen wonen. In mei 1780 koopt het echtpaar nog 5 jukken land te Ranum van freule Harmanna Lamijna van Nijeveen. Na het overlijden van Enne Jans komt de Ranumer boerderij aan zijn zoon, Jan Ennes Huizing en Trientje Heines Elles, landbouwers te Zuurdijk (zie OAT-=lijst).
