    Na de dood van haar man vertrok Antie Pieters Hoekstra 8 mei 1795 vanuit Dokkum naar Sneek. Antje/Antie/Anna Hoekstra is overleden in Leeuwarden (begr. Oldehoofsterkerkhof 16.9.1801) en woonde daar op het laatst in het St. Anthonij Gasthuis. In dat gasthuis woonde ze samen met haar broer Sipke Pieters Hoekstra en Antje (Aaltje of Atje) Saagmans. Onduidelijk is nog wie die laatste vrouw was.
