    Bij de doop van zijn dochter Tet(t)je Zacharias in 1809 wordt als haar vader vermeld: Zacharias Wigbolds Timmerman. Aangezien zijn familienaam Hazenberg was, zal hij timmerman van beroep zijn geweest.

    Na zijn huwelijk in 1757 woont hij enkele jaren in Peize, de woonplaats van zijn echtgenote. Hij komt vijf keer voor in de Drentse belastingkohieren (de 30ste en 40ste penning) onder Peize in de periode 9-12-1760 tot en met 22-1-1770. Bij één van devermeldingen uit 1760 staat bij Zacharias: "al op de groote Garst” (= Grootegast). Vanaf 1760 laat hij ook zijn kinderen in Grootegast dopen. Hij woont echter in Lutjegast.

    Advertenties in de Opregte Groninger courant (25 en 29 sep. 1772) voor landerijen die te koop zijn: “Een Heert Lands onder Lutjegast geleegen, wordende door Zacharias als Beklemnde Meyer gebruikt, s Jaars voor 22 gl.”

    Vijftien jaar later komt de grond opnieuw op de markt: “Den Eigendom van pl. m. 13 Grazen Behuisd Land en het Heem, waarop de Behuizinge is staande tot Lutjegast op de Wierden gelegen, by de Zoon van Zacharias als Beklemde Meyer in gebruik, ’s Jaarsvoor 22 Car. gl.”
