    Steijo Krijns is een zoon van Krijno Stijes, landbouwer onder Midwolderhamrik, no. 37, en Hille Jans. Steijo overlijdt na 10 mei 1685. Hij is kuiper in Midwolderhamrik, tussen de Hereweg en het Zijldiep. Steijo wordt opgevolgd door Meerten Jans. Steijo is diaken der Hervormde kerk in Nieuwolda op 22 januari 1673. Hij trouwt omstreeks 1652 met Anne Mentijes. Zij heeft als zuster Houke Mentes, getrouwd met Boelo N. N. en vervolgens met Egberdt Cornelijs, timmerman te Nieuwolda. Steijo hertrouwt voor maart 1659, 6 januari 1661 in Nieuwolda (cop.), 22 november 1660 in Nieuwolda (H.V.) met Trijne Cornelis, van Siddebuursterveen. Zij heeft als broer Warmolt Cornelis en Richt Harmes, als neef. Zij overlijdt na 4 april 1683. Trijne is in 1660 weduwe van Aijbe Menkes.

    Stije Crijns trouwt eerst met Anna Mentkes en in 1660 met Trijne Cornelis.
