    Sijbo Sebens is geboren in 1548 en begraven op 9 december 1631 in Midwolda. Hij is vanaf 1581 landbouwer op Midwolder kerkenlanden, no. 47o, als opvolger van Luppo Alerts en Reencke Ockens. In 1619 wordt hij vermeld te Finsterwolde. Sijbo wordt op 1 augustus 1596 lidmaat der Hervormde gemeente van Midwolda. Hij trouwt omstreeks 1573 met Tijaduwe. Ze wordt lidmaat der Hervormde gemeente van Midwolda op 17 april 1597. Sijbo hertrouwt op 13 mei 1613 in Noordbroek (H.V.) met Elske Rotgers, dochter van Rotger Hijndricks, landbouwer in Midwolda, no. 54, en mogelijk ook in Noordbroeksterhamrik, en Weije. Elske overlijdt na 24 maart 1664.
