Zij is geboren op 20 december 1736, als dochter van Joghem Fokkes, kuiper en boomkweker in de Beerta, en Foske Jans. Trijntje overlijdt op 21 december 1822 te Midwolda. Ze hertrouwtin 1782 met Gerrit Jacobs Oosthof, winkelier te Midwolda.
