    Haijcke Meeckes is aanwezig bij de eerste viering van het Heilig Avondmaal te Midwolda op 1 augustus 1596. Aeldrick wordt op 17 september 1597 te Midwolda aangenomen als lidmaat en op 17 april 1598 tot diaken te Midwolda gekozen. Op 5 november 1603 werd hij samen met zijn vrouw Haijcke Meeckes en een dienstmeid begraven te Midwolda. Ze zijn allemaal bezweken aan de pest.

    Aldrick Stijes, van Bellingwolde, trouwt op 6 februari 1597 in Midwolda (cop.) met Haijcke Meeckes, dochter van Meecko Hittiens, landbouwer in Midwolda, op "Nijenhuis", anno 2001 "Ol Kerke", en Icke.
