Joseph Benedict Blain had acquired some property in Manchester in Cheetham Hill Road. This was rented to one of the family and together with a loan from Joe this person started a business called "Pro
gress." They manufactured mirrors, religious Christian artefacts, etc. This person was Mier Lieberman who was married to a Chwoinik, the daughter of Abraham David - Joe's brother. They lived at 35 Cavendish Road Manchester 8 on the border of Prestwich (N. Manchester).
