"Retroacta Burgelijke stand Overijssel no. 593 Sebastiaan Kok, voorlezer en Voorzanger en schoolmeester der stad Vollenhove Anno 1713".
Hij heeft het werk van intekening van dopelingen overgenomen van G.Oving.
..-12-1742:
"Heeft de onderschreven nu geweest Schoolmr Voorlezer en Voorzanger,vijftig jaren allers 1742 verschenen. Mijn lichaam dat verslijt, mijnogen worden duijster. O, Heere geeft mij na de Geest, dies te meerderluijster. Sebastiaan Kok, oud in mijn 67 jaar."
En op 31-12-1752:
"op allerheiligen seventienhondert en twee en vijftig verschenen alhier te Vollenhove negen en dertig jaren, en een half jaar; te Oldenmarkt agtien jaren en een half jaar; te Muggenbeek twee jaren; te samen zestigjaren schoolmeester en voorzanger"
In mei 1755: "Sebastiaan Kok, toegekent is hem wegens getrouwe en neerstige dienst van kerk en school een tractement van honderd en sestig carulus guldens so lang hij leeft".
