Bevolkingsregisters Maatschappij van Weldadigheid:
Petronella Gaal; geboren op 26-04-1813; ingeschreven als kolonistendochter te Willemsoord.
Op 09-05-1835 met 3 mnd. verlof, op 13-10-1835 terug. Op 24-03-1838 ontslagen, gehuwd met Klaas Lodewijk, die op de zelfde dag werd ontslagen. Terug in de kolonie als kolonistengezin op 01-06-1840 en op vertrekdatum als hoevenaar naar Ommerschans Buiten.

Pieternella kan bij haar huwelijk geen geboortebewijs overleggen. Daarom verklaren drie getuigen dat zij geboren is in het jaar 1813 in de stad Piets(?) in Frans Lotharingen. Dit zijn Gijsbert Fraterman, 62 jaar, kuiper, Jan Wardenier, 66 jaar, schoenmaker en Pouw van der Bil, 53 jaar, kuiper, allen wonende te Willemsoord. Zij diende bij hetzelfde regiment als Pieternella·Äôs vader en wisten van de geboorte.
Twee andere getuigen, Jan Andries Schmitt, 59 jaar landbouwer en Arie Kruters, 40 jaar, landbouwer, wonende te Willemsoord kenden het gezin in de vorige woonplaats ·Äòs-Gravenhage.
Twwe andere getuigen Teunis Beukenkamp, 73 jaar en Jan van Kesteren, 30 jaar, landbouwers te Willemsoord verklaren dat Pieternella een wettige dochter is.
