Volgens gemeente Archief Gouda: foto: Aambeelt smederij/scheepswerf Vis te Waddinxveen, op een houten klos met leren schootsvel ca 1920. Daam Vis begon in 1814 een smederij op de Noordkade rond 1860 werd het bedrijf tevens scheepsmakerij. Het bedrijf is altijd van vader op zoon over gegeaan en bestaat nog steeds.
