Notes about Huijbertus Gerritze

Hij woont nog in 1780 te Nijmegen.
kort na het overlijden van Hubertus betrekt de familie Gerri(e)tsen het huis in Groenendaal te Gouda, alwaar zij tot het jaar 1904 blijven wonen. Huijbertus Gerritse blijkt na ong. 1800 de naam Gerretsen te dragen. Opvallend is dat ongeveer 1870 in Gouda kort na elkaar een aantal personen overlijden, die zowel de naam Hubertus Gerritse als Hubertus Gerretsen dragen
(aantekening: p.s. te Amsterdam huwt op 5-7-1759 Jan Gerretsen oud 21 jaar geb. te Nijmegen en Johanna Hellegers).
Hij woont nog in 1780 te Nijmegen. Zijn beroep is soldaat in 't regiment van zijne Hoogheid den Prince van Orange, de latere Willem V (1748-1806), dit is het regiment Oranje Gelderland).
Mogelijk koop hij te Gouda een huis met warmoestuin plus drie tuinen op de Lazeruskade de drie tuinen op de korte Akkeren oktober 1792, koopprijs 1040. Arij Verheul koot het van Johannes Beusekom.
Mogelijk is een kleinzoon Hubertus Gerritsen gehuwd met Maria Peters zij laten doen in 1782 Joannes Gerrits te Nijmegen overl. Nijmegen 12-05-1863 81 jaar oud.
Ene Johannes Gerritsen is gehuwd met Catharina van Kuijk zij laat te Stompwijk dopen 27-10-1874 Hubertus Gerritsen.
