Zij vestigde zich te Bussum aan de Goudenregenstraat 10, verhuisde later naar de Mezenlaan Gooise waranda, vermoedelijk daar vermoord, door de particulier verpleger.
Het blijkt dat Wim inmiddels werkzaam is in het Gooi, in de particuliere thuiszorg.
In korte tijd overlijden daar onder zijn handen de Bussumse gezusters Gerretsen (84 en 88 jaar oud). Beide vrouwen overlijden in het weekend en wéér is het Wim die ze als eerste vindt en die ze als laatste in leven heeft gezien. Bovendien liegt Wim bij een van de sterfgevallen over de ware doodsoorzaak. Ook blijkt een van de zussen reeds door Wim te zijn afgelegd, waardoor de vervangend huisarts slechts een oppervlakkige schouw verricht. Toeval?
Het is een uiterst curieuze gang van zaken, die sterk doet denken aan de drie sterfgevallen tien jaar eerder. Wim wordt hierover meerdere keren door de recherche gehoord. Maar weér kan men de verdenking tegen Wim niet hardmaken, omdat beide zussen inmiddels zijn gecremeerd, waardoor verder onderzoek naar een eventueel misdrijf onmogelijk is. En dus komt het ook nu niet tot een rechtszaak.
