Notes about Johan van Keppel Heer Van Molecaten

Johan van Keppel van Molecaten is scholtus (schout) en richter van Hattem. Hij is gecommitteerde ter Vergadering van de Edel Mogende Heren Staten van Gelderland.

Door het overlijden van haar echtgenoot werd Geertruid de 12e januari 1677 opnieuw met de heerlijkheid Molecaten beleend. Haar hulder was Dirk Ludolph van Keppel tot Kampferbeek, die voor haar de leeneed aflegde, waartoe zij als vrouw niet bevoegd was. Deze Dirk Ludolph was een bloedverwant van haar echtgenoot, ook een Keppel, wien de havezathe Kampferbeek bij Berkum in Zwollerkerspel toebehoorde. Hij was bovendien haar schoonzoon, door zijn huwelijk met haar dochter Anna van Keppel.

Uit dit huwelijk werd een dochter geboren, Anna Wilhelmina Cecilia van Keppel, die op 28 december 1687 te Elspeet op 17-jarige leeftijd huwde met Robbert van Heeckeren tot Barlham en Enghuysen. Robbert van Heeckeren overlijdt op 49-jarige leeftijd in 1699 en zijn weduwe, Anna Wilhelmina Cecilia overlijdt in 1704 op 34-jarige leeftijd. Zij laat drie kinderen achter in de leeftijd van 15, 11 en 8 jaar oud.
