Jannes koopt het erve groot Kattelaar op 20-mei 1815,voor f.3000,-, van Lambert Eindhoven te Blokzijl.(akte 79 van notaris Jalink te Goor). In de Kadastrale Atlas van 1832, wordt hij nog Jannes Kattelaar genoemd.
Op 24 juni 1837 maakt hij testament op notaris Jalink te Goor.
