Notes about Jane Judith Peyre

"No records have been found regarding the second marriage of Jane Judith (Peyre) Dubois Caw, daughter of David, the emigre. In her mother's will (1754), reference is made only to the Dubois children of Judith. On March 4, 1754, Lewis Cass [Caw] and Judith, his wife, the widow of John Dubois, "said John Dubois having lately died intestate, petitioned the courts for the 'considerable estate,' in behalf of Judith and her three children."
