Casou-se, primeira vez, em 30 de agosto de 1768 na freguesia da Cotia, com o CAPITÃO JOSÉ MANUEL DE CAMPOS, moradores que foram nas Minas de Apiaí.Com ge-ração. Paula nasceu em Cotia, onde foi batizada em 18 de agosto de 1748, mais exatamente na capela dos religiosos do Carmo,na paragem Sorocamirim. José Manuel de Campos nasceu em 12 de abril de 1744 em Araçariguama, em cuja freguesia de Nossa Senhora da Penha foi batizado em 19 do mesmo mês.507Era filho de Manuel Corrêa de Barros, natural de Araçariguama, e de sua mulher (casados em 10 de junho de 1743 em Itu) Maria de Campos, batizada em 19 de junho de 1729 em Araçariguama; neto paterno de Manuel Corrêa Penteado, natural da freguesia da Sé da cidade de São Paulo, e de sua mulher Beatriz de Barros, natural da freguesia de Araçariguama; neto materno de Manuel Ferraz de Campos, natural da vila de Itu (onde foi batizado em 7 de junho de 1692) e de sua mulher Ana Ribeiro, natural da freguesia de Araçariguama.José Manuel de Campos habilitou-se ao Santo Ofício para se tornar familiar.508Ele e sua mulher fizeram provanças; ele vivia de minerar ouro. Foi aprovado em 8 de agosto de 1795, em Lisboa.Viúva, D. Paula Maria de Camargo, casou-se, segunda vez, em 5 de outubro de 1796, na igreja matriz da vila e Minas de Santo Antôniode Apiaí, com o CAPITÃO JOÃO MANUEL DE CARVALHO DANTAS, natural da freguesia de São João de Campos, termo de Vila Nova de Cerveira, arcebispado de Braga.509Ele era filho de Francisco Martins Dantas e de sua mulher Teodora Lourença de Carvalho, ambos naturais da freguesia de São João de Campos; neto paterno de Francisco Martins Dantas e de sua mulher Juliana
