Joaquim José dos Santos Silva, primeiro e único barão de Itapetininga, (São Paulo, 16 de junho de 1799 — 11 de julho de 1876) foi um proprietário rural e empresário brasileiro. Casou-se com Ana Eufrosina Pereira Mendes ou Ana Pereira dos Santos, c.g., da qual a filha, Maria Hipólita dos Santos Silva, casou-se com Amador Rodrigues de Lacerda Jordão, barão de São João do Rio Claro, e em segundas núpcias com Joaquim Egídio de Sousa Aranha, marquês de Três Rios. Em 1861 se casou em segundas núpcias com Corina de Sousa Castro, a qual, enviuvando, se casou com Francisco Xavier Pais de Barros, barão de Tatuí, de cujo casamento houve a filha Antonia dos Santos, que se casou com Eduardo da Silva Prates, conde de Prates, com título concedido pelo Papa Leão XIII, sendo genro de João da Silva Machado, Barão de Antonina.

Recebeu o título de Barão de Itapetininga por decreto imperial de Dom Pedro II em 23 de dezembro de 1863. Sua propriedade mais célebre era a "Chácara do Chá", no Vale do Anhangabaú, onde hoje se localiza o Viaduto do Chá e outros logradouros importantes da capital paulista. Foi deputado provincial na legislatura 1842-1843.

Homenageado com a Rua Barão de Itapetininga, na região central da capital de São Paulo, área de sua propriedade.
