Veio para o Brasil, em finais do século XVII ou inicio do século XVIII, onde casou duas vezes.
Primeira vez com Maria Pinto da Fonseca (ou da Fonseca Pinto) natural de Mogi das Cruzes ou de Guarulhos, muito provavelmente a Maria com 13 anos em 1701, filha de Simão Vaz Furtado e de Ana da Fonseca, esta falecida em 03-07-1699 e inventariada em 09-05-1701.
